Whether you're celebrating your own move or are looking for a more enjoyable house warming gift for a friend, finding the perfect gift for new homeowners is hard—that’s why I made it easier. Check out my holiday gift guide for new homeowners:
1. Entryway Rug
An entryway runner is perfect for a new home because it serves as a statement piece that can be built off of. If you already know what the new homeowners’ style is like, then picking out a rug should be a no-brainer. You also shouldn’t worry too much if it perfectly matches with their current décor because, more often than not, they’ll end up redecorating the entire home after they move in, anyway!
2. Statement Lamp
If they’re a first-time homebuyer and didn’t even pick out any furniture yet, give them the gift of accessories! It may seem odd to place accessories before you have your furniture, but designing a room around a single statement piece can end up looking even better! That way, beautiful pieces aren’t lost somewhere within a busy room.
3. Hi-Tech End Table
Not only will they appreciate any gift, but new homeowners will love furniture with a purpose. End tables with built-in outlets and USB ports are a great way to keep your room functional while also keeping it looking great since it will hide all of those ugly cords from your lamps and other electronics.
4. Multifunctional Ottoman
Again, furniture with a purpose (especially more than one!) will really win them over. Ottomans are a great alternative to coffee tables in rooms with minimal space, and having one that offers extra storage is just an added bonus. Not only are they easy on the eyes, but you can also seat guests, hide extra throw blankets, and kick your feet up after a long day of work.
5. Sleeper Sofa
Because where else are you going to sleep when you stay over all the time? At least you know you'll be sleeping on something that's stylish and comfortable!
So which would you love to give to a new homeowner for the Holidays? Let me know in the comments!
