A study published in the Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics found that sleep deprivation lead to an increased risk of injury for high school athletes. The NHTSA calls drowsy driving "a form of impaired driving" that caused an estimated 846 fatalities in 2014. A good night sleep is an important part of staying safe.
